I will attach a photo of what I suspect is a weed.
I am not a gardener. Don’t want to pull it out if it will become pretty.
Don't want to leave it too long as it seems a tough plant.
There was a hedge close to the spot. Any ideas?

if I can be cheeky and ask people if they think I should pull the following attached out too.
it was on neighbours side. New fence has moved it to my side 😵
I will pull out the mares tail. But what about the other? A hosta perhaps?
