Can anyone please tell me what this shrub is, I've lost the label.

    One of the many Escallonia species or cultivars .

    Paul B3, Didn't realise there are so many. Will just have to label it Escallonia Bright Red for now.

    Yes , that one seems a pretty good match !...........nice shrub by the way .

    Thanks Paul B3, People have been saying how pretty it is. Have been asked  if I can do cutting for them so will see if I can find when to take some.

    If I remember correctly , I think it's softwood cuttings in Spring , or hardwood cuttings in late Summer/early Autumn ; either way , good luck with them .

    Paul B3,Hardwood cutting Oct/Nov. Basal, heel or nodal cuttings July/Oct but with hormone powder. Book says both easy to propagate, so looks like the whole street will be getting one. I have a book called Successful Propagation by Which and another called Propagating Plants by the RHS both good books.
