Problems with purple....allium ps and centaurea

I have a large border that comes into flower quite late, and in May all I have in flower is allium purple sensation, which looks great as I have loads, and all the other plants are still quite small/low. Last year I must have decided to add a group of centaurea, which is in flower at the same time.
Trouble is allium ps is red-purple and the centaurea is the very blue purple one (but it has a red-purple centre so not a complete disaster) and I’m thinking I need another plant to make these 2 work, or move the centaurea elsewhere.
so could be white, or red would give a fantastic clash but I’m thinking yellow (but gold yellow not lemon). Any thoughts on what would be nice with these 2 and in flower at the same time?

This is not a good photo, as the colours aren’t as in real life and the centaurea is hiding in the unweeded forget me not, but I have allium, centaurea and a reddish aquilegia.

I also like real clashes, so just beside this I have more centaurea, allium, aquilegia and to liven it up have added rather vibrant coloured phlox and a helenium.

Ooo that is bright. I do love the orange, though I’m not sure it’s right for this situation (might well look at that for another bed though!).
