15 Best Roses, Plants and Planting for Bees

I have just read this blog page; it is so full of useful information I have decided to share it.

Apart from a very comprehensive list of plants for pollinators, it includes the authors 15 favorite roses and 15 favorite plants overall.

I think his advice is worth taking.

    The RHS has a list of plants for pollinators on its website -  https://www.rhs.org.uk/science/conservation-biodiversity/wildlife/plants-for-pollinators with lists for garden flowers, wildflowers and world flowers.

    and Grow Organic has this list - https://www.groworganic.com/organic-gardening/articles/attracting-pollinators-to-the-garden

    Single roses are best for pollinators.

    I'm pleased to see Martin back doing his blog... he was ill for a time and gave it up... I was upset about that... great to see him back again...

    The author has clearly put so much work (and knowledge) into this blog page, I thought it deserved to be shared more. I hope he realises his efforts are appreciated and being read - maybe he can see the 'hits' he gets for each article ?

    Martin can be found in other places too... along with Michael Marriott of David Austin Roses, he is also on Instagram... and has a nice page there, which I look at along with Michael's... and a few others...
