Plant ID - Geum, Perhaps?

This has appeared out of nowhere, where I thought there were only weeds growing. I think it's very pretty. Is it a type of geum?

    It could be some kind of rock rose, a helianthum?

    Yes , bullfinch is right ; a Helianthemum .
    There are several of this colour , so I wouldn't like to specify a particular one .
