Maybe Viburnum opulus...common name Guelder rose.

I've looked up Meadow sweet /Filipendula ulmaria and think it's most probably that.

Meadowsweet is one of the enduring memories of my childhood in Suffolk ... the hedgerows and ditchbanks were full of it and the scent was quite heady 😊
