Can anyone put a name to this flower/plant.  It is in our wild flower mix and the flowers are on tall, single stems with a few buds on each stem, pictures one and two are the same plant.Another wild flowering plant, is it a vetch?A re-seeded flower, second year.

Number 1 is a Corncockle, number 2 is Bush Vetch, number 3 is Sainfoin.

    1.  Agrostemma githago or Corncockle.
    2.  Still looking.... a vetch of some sort.
    3. Sainfoin or Onobrychis vicifolia.

Thank you for naming the flowers SueG1 and Asarum.  I must admit I thought Corncockle was similar to Cornflower but that it was a deep red so I am pleased to now have a name for it.  I think I will have to post a picture of that too next time.  The Vetch is arching/drooping in shape, so I am not sure if it is Bush but again I don't know for sure what it is.  The Sainfoin/Onobrychis vicifolia fits the picture exactly. Thanks again.

@Asarum isn’t No.2 the same vetch you recently IDd for me?

I think you could be right Nollie/Asarum, this has a far more arching style than any of the other vetches mentioned.  Thanks.

Nollie, you are right.  It was early for me and I hadn’t got my brain in gear and my books were downstairs!

Know that feeling, I can’t function until after my second coffee!

There is also Sainfoin growing wild on our plot alongside the aforementioned vetch - was going to post that next for ID, but you've saved me the bother, cheers!
