anybody planted or grown this sweet smelling shrub either ground cover varieties or in pots or for hedges ( hear it likes sunny dry ground) rich nature

Carissa macrocarpa.......commonly known as the Natal plum.

Super shrub.

However it is native of South Africa.

I have only seen it in very hot tropical countries.

Not sure that it would flower here or be hardy

True I’m in the canaries at the moment and it’s out in abundance ( orange blossom smell) I’ll try it
