A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Darn it!!
Thanks Bob. Any experience on treating it? I didn’t put collars on my greyhound cabbage in a different bed so can assume they are infested too, although they are growing ok. Do nematodes work?

I think nematodes would be worth trying.  Are the plants from seed or bought as young plants?  I ask as the only time I had these particular beasties was when I bought some in following a germination failure, but I think they are more common on allotments.

Grown from seed. New veg garden, the multi-sown beetroot next to the turnip isn’t looking too clever either, not sure what’s going on with that... at least the peas, beans, spuds and lettuce are doing well!
