Plants destined as rose companion have powdery mildew..safe to plant?
Is it safe to plant them under the roses or will it spread? Should I quarantine them and treat them with something first? They are Achillea Ptarmiga Perry’s White, which were healthy two days ago.
This is the third plant I have had problems with from a particular online nursery, you live and learn.

I will hose them off and leave them in the sun for a while to see if that helps, maybe scrape off and renew the mulch. The infection doesn’t look too serious, but anything else I can do, do let me know.
Cheers.
Complain to the nursery. If that gets you nowhere see if they have a Facebook page and shame them there. Don't buy from them again till you get satisfaction.

Tricky proving it though as I didn't take photographic evidence of how they arrived, but I will complain in my appalling French! Whatever happens, I won’t be buying from them again. I will stick to my usual supplier - all theirs, grown in the same conditions, salvia and achillea included, were vigorous and healthy.
