name of weed?

Could someone let me know what is the name of this weed? Is it a stinging nettle?Many thanks

    Not a stinging nettle ... one of the brambles ... wild blackberry sort of thing. Can really invade a garden so best dug out. Mind your hands on the prickles.

    The thing underneath it is Celandine, which you might also consider a weed.

     For some reason my cat likes chewing bramble leaves.

    I used to feed them to my expectant goats when they were due to kid as it can help labour ... is your cat trying to tell you something? 😉

    They taste nice. If you're any good at wine making, bramble tip wine is really delicious one for home brew.

    Are you sure, it looks like a  Violet to me.
