Plum Tree Problem

My well established damson tree seems to have an infestation of some pest which is making the leaves curl, dry and fall off- please can someone help me identify and what should I do to solve the problem?

I Have the same problem.   ALso some fungus on the main trunk which look like small horse hoofs??
The trees are very old and very tall some 20/25 feet.  But also the young suckers are affected.

The curled leaves have been sucked dry by aphids. New leaves will grow in time.

The fungus on the trunk of the other tree is a sign that the tree doesn’t have long to live.
