This daisy flower is part of our wild flower mix this year. They are fairly small flowers considering the height of the stems (2' -3') which are singular but with a few daisies on each stem/plant. What are they?

Looks like Leucanthemum vulgare, commonly known as the ox-eye daisy.

They all look very similar, but it is smaller in diameter than the Ox-eye daisy, we have them growing here too.  Thanks for suggestion Busy-Lizzie.

What diameter are the daisies? They look like ox eyes to me, we have an enormous amount of them here, the motorways are covered in them , also in the churchyards.

They are just 2 - 3 cms in diameter. Much smaller than an ox eye daisy. Someone suggested Mayflower, but I can't find that on google or in our wild flower books.

The wild ones along the roads are about that size.  Is that an inch in old money?

When I googled 'ox eye daisy flower size' the result at the top of the page mentions something called "stinking chamomile" with 1.5 to 3cm flowerheads.

'Shasta' daisies (Leucanthemum x superbum) which are about 7-12cm dia. are often called 'oxeye' (Leucanthemum vulgare) which is possibly where any confusion comes from?
