Fungus on grass

in Problem solving
We have a fairly large patch of fungus on our mossy lawn,slowly spreading.Was just wondering what it is exactly and what the best way to get rid of it would be?

    It’s Dog’s Lichen ... quite common in lawns where the drainage is poor (and that’s why you have moss too) ... lots of info here https://www.rhs.org.uk/Advice/profile?PID=414
