What to do with big hole in garden

we had a sunken trampoline when the kids were young, it’s time to remove it but this leaves a large hole. Any ideas of what to do without filing it in?
Its a shady area, we don’t want a pond or hot tub!!

Make a sunken shady bower, cut some steps in one side, cover the bottom with either bark mulch, gravel or paving - whatever takes your fancy and put some comfy chairs plus a small table down there. If you really wanted to go to town, you could put in willow whips round threequarters of the circle and make a living arbour.

I did something along the sunken bower lines a couple of years ago with an old patch which was just nettles and rubble. Dropped the ground level by a foot or so, then used some old logs we had from a fallen tree to edge it to border level, covered the bottom with bark chips and made a circle of bricks as a fire pit. Total cost of about £20 for bark chips, and an old table and chairs we got from Argos or somewhere years ago for about £30. Its one of my favourite spots now, the logs have mossed over, and its great for woodland type plants, and wildlife, and makes a nice shady alternative to the sunnier seating area.
