hanging baskets

I've made up 2 baskets of petunias and was wondering the best place to position them ideally would like to put them under canopy at front of house.But thinking they wouldn't get enough sun.Advice please

As long as they get some direct  sun. My mom puts them out her front and they only get late afternoon/evening sun and they do ok

They will be ok as long as they do get some sun.
Or maybe think about somewhere else for them and plant up 2 more for under the canopy with shade tolerant plants... Fuchsia, begonia, busyLizzie Ivy, Bacopa.
