pelargoniums

I have a lemon scented trailing geranium Attar of Roses which after winter is looking all brown and shrivelled leaves.  A few green leaves remain. I do not know what to do for the best. I also have a Mrs Pollock variegated leaves which is romping away outside in front of house but a few cuttings taken last year and which were growing nicely are also shrivelling and looking worse for wear. Pelargoniums I mean.  I wonder if there is some sort of virus affecting plants or do I just cut it back to base, repot again and hope for best. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

It’s unlikely to be a virus. Both are quite vigorous pelargoniums and would outgrow any issues quickly at this time of year. Some photos would help. Are they outside? Have they been hardened off?
