Trachycarpus Fortuneii - seed started rooting but not shooting

UpNorthUpNorth Posts: 376
I managed to get some foraged seeds rooted, so potted them up into deep'ish pots and keeping them warm and moist in conservatory in free draining mix.  nearly two weeks later i'm still not seeing any shooting.

does anyone know how long they take to shoot, after they have started to root?  any other advice?

The roots form first... you need to ‘cultivate patience’ 😉

very true.  how often we read that here too!  you obviously think two weeks insufficient....i'll keep waiting.   i did also have a cycad and some dwalf fanpalms rooted, just trying my luck, but hopeful still.  all 'recovered' from Majorca last october.
