Plants or weeds

Am new at this gardening and trying to sort out what plants are in my new garden. Are they plants or weeds ?

    top one is a delphinum (plant), middle one don't know (possibly weed?), bottom one is verbena boniariensis (plant)

    For the middle one it could be something like a nepeta.  So have a look at the base of the plant to see if it looks as if all the shoots are coming from one place as if there was something planted there.  

    Agree with other two.

    No. 2 looks like lemon balm aka Melissa.  Pinch a leaf - does it smell lemony?
