ID for floating pond plant please.

Any idea what this could be? Apparently if just floats on the surface and spreads via runners.
The leaf is about 3-4cms across and looks like a small waterlily.

    I was wondering if it was Nymphoides peltata (Fringed Waterlily).The chap in the shop said it was a 'lily'.It does have a wavy edge.
    Maybe have to wait and see if the flowers are yellow or white!!
