Identify Plant Help

Hello,

Can anyone assist me in identifying a plant from The Orange Express Garden by Jason Hales, Villaggio Verde @ RHS Malvern?

I am trying to identify the picture in the foreground the spiky green leaves with red flowers reminiscent of the flowers on the Kniphofia

It driving me crazy!

Thanks
J

Can't see it very well, but from that distance I'd take a guess it's a Bottlebrush (Callistemon)

I’d agree with that Pete, my daughter’s got a beauty in her front garden.

Ive got 3 bottlebrush plants in pots, but no sign of flower buds yet. Wondering if they will flower this year. Only got them last year as small plugs, they seem to be growing well leaf wise, but as I say, no signs of flowers - do they take a while before they do flower, ie do they need a year or so to establish?
Your daughters plant looks lovely, Lyn.
