Dahlia query

Hello everybody, I wonder if anyone knows why a dahlia which was left in the ground overwinter, covered in mulch, is coming up well enough but the emerging leaves look rather yellow? Is this common and can I do anything about it? Could it just need feeding and if so what is best, or is it worse than that?

Oh thanks marc, thats reassuring, has that happened before or is it just this year? I guess I'll give it some growmore or something and wait and see!
