I'm not 100 percent but looks like the leaves of evening primrose

Not 100% certain , but looks like the biennial Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis) .

Yep, Evening Primrose. Though ours seem to behave like perennials???

I never quite understand this ; an elderly lady (94) has the same huge clump of Hollyhocks growing every year ; had them for so long she can't remember . No Hollyhock Rust either !

Now if I attempt Hollyhocks , they're strictly biennial for me
