Forum home The potting shed

I have found an inner packet of seeds in my potting shed with the name ZIEAWOMI 106212 D on it but searches cannot identify what they are. Any ideas?

The letters denote what the seeds are, but I can only think of a type of Zinnia.

Google it and you will see what it's like, pretty.

I love this forum! I just found a foil lined packet of seeds not in the outer wrapper with exactly the same wording (ZIEAWOMI 106212 D) and Googled it. It found this answer and has helped me to match the packet with the outer wrapper which is indeed Zinnia 'Early Wonder Mixed' (Sarah Raven's).

On a different subject - does anyone know why so many seed wrappers have their opening along the bottom edge? I unseal it here and then often lose the foil wrapper with seeds from the outer wrapper as it falls out. Why don't manufacturers seal their wrappers on the top edge?
