Should I disbud these dahlias?

I overwintered my dahlia tubers under under cover and now they are growing well. Obviously they won’t go outside yet - but should I remove these early buds?

    You will get stronger plants if you do.
    There are ashtrays of emulsion,
    for the fag ends of the aristocracy.
