Does anyone know what this wee plant is? It just sprouted out of nowhere.

I was going to say sycamore seedling, but I think I’m wrong,

I really dont don’t know what it could be although the leaves do resemble a Marijuana plant  :#

looks like Rodgersia to me too.
He calls her the chocolate girl
Cause he thinks she melts when he touches her
She knows she's the chocolate girl
Cause she's broken up and swallowed
And wrapped in bits of silver

Yes I agree with you, I have them in my garden, but has the OP got them? They don’t usually just arrive in a garden, or do they, present from the birds?

I was given a rooted shoot of Rodgersia and planted it in a small bog garden, although it's striking it's a bit of a devil for spreading and impossible to dig out.

Thank you @Hostafan1, I don’t have them in my garden, must be a present from the birds.

Could be a rodgersia aesculifolia, but could also be a horse chestnut tree seedling....

I hope it’s not a tree @Helix I’d have to pull it out, it’s not far from my back wall. Will wait and see what it grows into.
