    I think the top one is either Dill, Anethum Graveolens, or Fennel, Foeniculum Vulgare.

    No idea with the second photo.

    Thanks for your comments...... I am really hoping that the fennel like one is peony tenuifolia, wishful thinking!! I never thought of nigella .....I've pulled enough of them up in the past 🤔

    Does it smell of fennel? The stem doesn't look right to me for fennel

    Unfortunately I think it's nigella.....  I happened across a peony tenuifolia on one of my jobs. The leaves seem to be identical. As I said, just wishful thinking.

    Well if you scatter a few wild fennel seeds, you'll have  fennel for ever, all over the place. But you won't get the bulbs
