Shady pots

Sonya2Sonya2 Posts: 19
Hi All,
Need some ideas for plants to put in large pots that don't mind being shady and dry? I have a couple of ferns and a small acer which are doing well just wondering what else I can add!

Thanks 😀

Is there a reason why they can't be watered?

All plants in containers need water, whether in sun or shade.
There are plenty of options for plants in shade in containers, but they all need a drink.
    e.g.
Hosta, Epimedium, some hardy Geraniums, Euonymus, some Campanulas, Heuchera,
    to name just a few.
If you want summer colour, try Impatiens, Begonia semperflorens, Fuchsia .

Many more listed on this link.
