Is this a Hellebore?

TimmyMagicTimmyMagic Posts: 135
I would like to know what plant this is... the one in the center. Is it a hellebore?

It is big and rests on the floor. Here is me holding it up:

Should I put in a stake so it sits upright? As at the moment it is kind of sad and lost.

Also, if anyone knows what the plant in the bottom left (first photo) is then I'd be happy to know. Thanks a lot.

    Wow, that was quick. Thanks.

I'll do some reading up, but is it usual for it to just flop over? Should I stake it? It doesn't seem happy.

The bottom left shrub looks like a Potentilla Fruticosa.

Marvelous! Thank you. I shall have to repeat that a few times to remember it... so many syllables.

Helleborus foetidus..flowers are now past their best and stems are flopping.
To stop them seeding all over the place I suggest cutting flowering stems down to ground level.
