Plant identification

Good evening!
I've got a beautiful tall plant that is growing in abundance in my garden. Picture attached. When it flowers it's got blue/purple tall flowers.
I want to know what it is, so I can find out how I can keep it under control..

It's about a meter tall at the moment..

Thank you

Leave it where you like it, pull it out where you don't. Cut off the tall stems if you think they're too high.

I love these plants but they do self seed a lot, if you cut the flower stalk right back when its finished it won’t set seeds everywhere.
