Taiga is a Group 3 clematis which means it needs to be pruned right back to about 6" in early spring (usually mid-Feb)
I have grown a group 3 clematis (Julia Correvon) through a Star Jasmine which worked well.
In the spring I would prune the clematis right back and pull the old growth from the Jasmine.
So long as your honeysuckle is well attached to whatever you're going to attach it to, it shouldn't be too tricky to remove the last year's growth from the clematis.
    Good luck
