Has anyone risked planting out Cosmos yet? My young plants have been sitting outside for a couple of weeks now so hardened off. Impatient as usual!

Not in York. Last date of frost can be up to second week in May so I don't risk it. I have stuff out like dahlias and tomatoes as they have outgrown my little grow house but they are wrapped in fleecy blankets overnight.

Can you plant out some of them? Just cover up with fleece if low temperatures are forecast.

Will plant mine out at the end of May or even June. 1c forecast here over the W/end.

I wait until the roots have filled the pot before I put them in the ground
In London. Keen but lazy.
