Earlier this year the growth was lush and healthy and full of blossom. Now somethings attacked the whole tree! Doesn't seem like I'm getting a harvest this year.

A fungal infection called, rather unimaginatively, peach leaf curl.  Just Google peach leaf curl and you will find plenty of advice.

The only way to help is by removing all curled leaves (especially new growth and try spraying, stuff from GC, but it's an up hill battle that I lost with my tree. Sorry.

It needs shelter from rain in the Spring when the new leaves are coming out.
