What has happened to my Fatsia

I planted a fatsia last year having been advised to be careful as it can take over an area easily. I bought it as a focal plant so this was ok. It grew very little last year but I was hoping it would take off this Spring but it now looks very sickly, all the fresh new leaves have turned brown and shrivelled and it has not grown at all. Does anyone have any ideas why?

Sounds as if the frost has nipped the fresh young leaves. It’ll grow some more ... panic not ... it’s pretty tough 😊

  • It looks like I didn't thank you for your helpful comment Dove...so...thank you! By the way, you were right, it's fine now and although hasn't grown enormously, is looking lovely and healthy.
  • So glad it’s ok. Thought it would be  😉 i
