    Good question. Maybe it's doable from windows? But looks too well trained for that.

    My grandparents have a huge wisteria, hiding most of a two storey house. They used to do some prunings from windows but they also did harder pruning every 3-5 years using a ladder.

    BTW also notice how is it quite common in continental Europe to have large trees close to houses.

    ..surely it would need scaffolding to do all that.. I mean don't they need pruning twice a year? I think so.. to make sure you get the flowers..  whatever, it seems expertly done..

    Lovely picture edhelka. Hope you don't mind me sharing...speaking of pruning and keeping wisteria off windows. This was taken only a week ago of a townhouse near Euston station in London. The trunk like a young tree coming from a basement that’s paved over.
