Vine weavel

I found larvae to vine weavel in my strawberry pots has anyone got a suggestion on how to get rid of them.

    Put them out for the birds they love them.
    if there’s any root left on your strawberries you can try washing the roots and repotting, I find it doesn’t really work, but worth’s try. 

    To avoid this in the future, get vine weevil nematodes and water in, nows a good time to do it, then follow it it again at the end of September. 
    It wont  revive what’s already damaged but will save your new plants.

    I second that. Have been struggling with vine weevil on my laurels and red robins since 1.5 years now and seem to have got the situation under control now with nematodes. Applied nematodes twice last year and again in early spring 3 weeks ago. Will do so again later in season. Hunting for them with flashlight at night helps reduce numbers too.
