Help ID a small tree

Hello,

My parents have a lovely mini tree that grows in their garden which was there when they purchased the property. We would love to get a couple for our garden but can't work out what it is. At first we thought it was a snowball tree but when we have been looking they all appear to be huge or bushy. Any ideas what this is called?

Thank You!

you can pretty much graft anything to make it look like  that.
You can see the bulbous growth at the top of the stem, that's the graft.
