What is this tree?

Hi I would be grateful to know what this tree is. I saw it at a garden centre but none of the staff knew (bizarrely) and there was no label. I loved it.

Sorry but this definitely not Acacia.
it is  the golden leaf form of Dawn redwood.....

Also they soon attain immense proportions ; too large for the average garden but beautiful all the same .

Wow lucky I didnt buy it then! It looked like a miniture tree of some sort. And very different to the pictures of a fully grown one on google. Thank you all for telling me.

It seems to be standard  practice nowadays in garden centres ;

"Well Sir/Madam , do you know anything about plants????"
