Dwarf Nepeta?

Good morning all.   Well, I can resist no longer. Despite struggling with all the neighbourhood cats over the years, I really want to grow nepeta.  We have recently rescued a 9 month old puppy and that, coupled with a brilliant automatic water spray, is keeping the cats away which gives me the confidence to grow it. What I’d really like is to grow several in terracotta pots which are approx. 12-14” in diameter. Is there such a thing as a dwarf nepeta or one that is happy being grown in containers?  Thanks in advance. 😊

There are quite a few dwarf nepeta to choose from. I have Junior Walker lining a path and don't find it invasive at all. I have never tried it in pots but I am sure it would do well.

I grow all my nepeta in pots on shelves as one of my cats is addicted to it and can shred a large plant in one day! They all do well.
  • Thanks Purple and Debs, I assume the Juinor Walker is a smaller version of Walkers Low?  Can’t remember seeing it in GC’s so will look online. Thanks again 👍🏻
