Lawn help - Post emergent herbicide

Hi!

New to the forum and looking for some help.

We have an infestation of flowers (wild garlic we think) on our lawn and we have been recommend to use post emergent herbicide to get rid of them.

Can anyone offer any advice or recommendations on which one to use? We are new to this so have no idea!

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Option 1 is to dig them out, bulbs and all but this may not be practical depending on the area. Option 2 is herbicide. The RHS website recommends Glyphosate but this will kill the lawn as well. I'm not sure if any of the 'selective' herbicides will work especially as wild garlic has that tough waxy coating. Option 3 is to leave but that can be very invasive so probably not an option.
