Hellebore plantlets?

I sowed these and the pot was labelled Hellebore seeds.

But they look a bit different. What do you think? The serrated edges and reddish stems have thrown me.

As they are all the same maybe they are, they don’t look quite like mine, yours are more serrated.

They are more serrated indeed but I zoomed in and I saw a leaf pattern that was definately hellebore. It's always interesting to see what you get.

Hellebores are not usually hairy.  They look a bit like bramble.  Grow them on a bit and you will tell better.

I don't think they're Hellebores, where did they come from?

    In the sticks near Peterborough

@Lyn I hope they're not brambles lol,  they are definitely from seeds I've sown.

I had put a label of hellebore seeds on them. Just have to grow them on and time will tell.

I am just a bit concerned by the fact they are hairy, Hellebores don’t have hairs.

An update, it seems they are from some rose hip seeds I planted I managed to label them hellebore though  :*

That would explain it.  Have the hellebores come up labelled as roses?
