I want to plant both pants but will they be OK close to the garage, one side has a drain down pipe on it. Where the drain is the corner of the garage and in in full sun all day, the other is also on a corner but has a fence attached to it and is in light shade from around mid day. Spoke to neighbour about planting there and he said go for it. My idea is to hide the corner and the down pipe also the fence. If you have any other suggestions I'm open to other plant idea's.

I would go for a couple of wiegela or one, if that’s the space, I don’t think much of forsythia, flowers briefly late winter then that’s its lot, with the weigela it flowers for a much longer time, and it’s the time when your mostly out in the garden.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Hi Lyn thanks for your reply, I have two Weigela Ruby Red which I grew from cutting so they can go in. Will they be OK close to the garage and would they be a problem with the drain? Your right just looked and mine are starting to come into flower now, but the Forsythia is all green.  Thanks again.
