Buddleia Help!

I recently bought a lovely Buddleia in a 2 litre pot.  I planted it (4 or 5 days ago) in a sunny spot in my garden.

All has been well until today, when I noticed some of the leaves have turned yellow. It was in excellent condition when I planted it.

Any ideas or advice?

Did you water it in well, and every day in this hot weather?

Yes fidgetbones, I have watered it every day.  I wondered if I had over done the water.  Do you think this could be the problem?

It could well be overwatering causing the problem. Stick your finger in the soil next to the rootball to check .

Buddleia are tough old plants I would not be overly concerned it's probably in a bit of shock keep it watered to get it established but don't over do it, once established they are reasonable drought tolerant.
