Rosa ‘Daisy Hill’

Morning everyone,

A friend of mine is looking for a Peter Beales Rose called ‘Daisy Hill’ which we think is a shrub rose, but we cannot seem to find it anywhere. It’s not even listed on the Peter Beales website anymore. Does anyone know if it’s discontinued and if so, why? Thanks in advance everyone.

Why not drop Peter Beales a message and ask them.
As you say, it doesn't appear to be available at present, and they will be able to tell you why.

    Here's their email address-

  • Thanks Pete8, I’ll do that now 👍🏻

...Peter Beales dropped that rose a long time ago, along with many others... and they continue to drop older roses, sadly, which is a sign of the times..

You  might like to contact Roses Loubert in France... they still have it, although sold out... whilst we're still in the E.U. it may be possible for them to ship it to you later in the year perhaps...

Continental nurseries can be notoriously difficult to order from in my experience, with one or two great exceptions, and I have no personal experience with this one..

  • Marlorena, That’s disappointing.  I’m not sure how much my friend wants this rose but I’ll pass on the information you’ve given me. Thank you so much.
  • Hello,

I hope this information is still relevant but you could try your luck in Germany with Schmid Gartenpflanzen
    https://www.schmid-gartenpflanzen.de/rosen/daisy-hill/
although they write that at the moment the rose is not available.

There is another nursery that offers it

    https://shop.staudenundrosen.de/produkt/daisy-hill/

They offer delivery to the UK for 20 €. Strangely enough no prize is given for the rose itself. You can order again in September.
