oh dear glyphosate on lawn

My lawn spot weedkiller and glyphosate killer are the same brand and identical apart from the label. I've accidentally used the glyphosate as dandelion spot weeder and hence have dead patches of grass. what a mess, what is the best thing to do?
Thanks

I do the same now and then.
Once the glyphosphate hits the soil it breaks down quite quickly.
So after a couple of days, the soil is ok, but the plant growing in it is dead.
I find that the grass naturally grows back, but you could scrape the soil and get rid of the dead grass and re-seed.
It usually takes 2-3 months to grow back naturally.

I have a zig zag path on my lawn where OH dropped glyphosate while spraying weeds on a path and moved to another part of the garden. Mmm.
