I assumed this was just a grass seed a week or so ago, but as I went to pull it up it seemed more than that, as it had a bulbous base. Now its a bit bigger, any ideas please?

Well I’ve never planted any day lilies and there weren’t any here before @madpenguin, so that would be weird if it was. It does look a bit lilyish though. The only thing I planted in that area that never showed up was some orange tulips, but doesn’t look like a tulip!

It does look a bit bluebell like, @josusa47, but none in this area at all, but that made me think, could it be a self-seeded hyacinth? I do have some of those about 30 metres away!
