Hi, my Mum bought this plant with the orange and yellow flowers from the Ascot flower show. It flowered all summer and seems to be hardy as it has survived winter on the patio. Any idea what it is?

I think that might be a Brazilian Fuchsia, Justicia Rizzinii, not hardy at all, so not sure where you are based.

We are in Surrey. I think it’s the Brazilian fuschia as the leaves are the same after a quick google. Goodness knows how my mother managed to keep that alive all winter, not even in a sheltered spot! Thank you- you guys are amazing on this forum.

I agree with that, I hadn’t blown the photo up to see the leaves.
