Does anyone know what these might be - they're coming up in my mum's garden as we were clearing up and she's not sure what they are.  Neither am I. Thanks

My first thought was peony, but on second thoughts no. Have you tried digging them up? I wonder if they are from a tuber.

Will do.  Not a peony, I agree, but aI'm  bit reluctant to dig them up for a peek just as they are coming out.  Will report back when they are mature unless anyone else can help?! Thanks

    Polygonatum of some type?
