Bamboo

I have two very tall clumps of Bamboo which need dividing is it to late to do them. I looked today and can't see any shoot at the moment.

I would have thought that this was a perfect time to do it.

It’s a grass, so it will grow away well in springtime.

Thanks pansyface, I was told it's grass so I feed it with lawn feed. I'll take the spade to it tomorrow and water it well before and after. Thanks again.
