Wondering about daisies

B3B3 Posts: 24,413
Having spent the day between showers getting up close and personal with a variety of weeds, my thoughts turned to daisies.
They only seem to grow in grass. I never come across them in the beds. Why might this be?
Mr Google only seems to offer advice on how to kill them.

I promise you @B3 they seed anywhere!  Been removing them from my veg beds for the last week, also from a patch of neglected path. Them and mallows grrr

Oh maybe I'm just lucky or they don't like clay

I garden on clay @B3 but I am somewhat haphazard in my approach. I suspect you may be lucky but more likely diligent  :)
